3 DAYS BWINDI GORILLA TREK
You can never find any mountain gorillas living in any zoo legally. It’s only in this part of Africa where a number of the remnant mountain gorillas can be seen.
Day One
We’ll leave Kampala early in the morning for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to enjoy Mountain Gorilla Tracking / Trekking. You’ll have Lunch on the way and enjoy the scenic drive (including photo-shoots). Arrival will be at your accommodation in the late afternoon. You can opt for high-class, mid-range and Budget, or Tented accommodations close to the gorillas.
Day Two
Gorilla Trekking
After an early breakfast, we’ll head to the Headquarters of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park for an orientation plus meeting the guides as well as separation into the groups basing on which gorilla trekking Uganda group you are to be tracking . Hiking in Bwindi impenetrable national forest offers you an array of wildlife beyond just the gorillas including additional primates, butterflies, mammals and birds.
After the trek, you will return to park headquarters and depending on your level of energy as well as the time, have a village walk, to see traditional lifestyle of the locals, from brewing of the local beer to medicines made from this very forest. Performances of traditional dances plus other entertainment will be offered by the very sociable local people and all this is worth experiencing.
Day Three
Wrapping up your Gorilla experience in Uganda
After breakfast, Check-out and head back to the capital Kampala, with stops in Mbarara for lunch and at any other stops of choice for photos or refreshments as chosen by you
